Your journey is through exploration of a world that is well realized engaging in fast paced combat and making choices that propel the story forward. The game is played both in the first and third person, leaving you free in how you take in the story.

The gameplay is freedom and choice, and you can shape your character’s skills and interactions. There is a classless advancement system whereby you can construct your character by means of ability trees such as Skyrim’s perk constellations, with an individualized experience for combat and exploration. Eora’s world is also richly beautiful with a vibrant palette and well-designed worlds that maximize the feeling of immersion.

Critics have praised Avowed as an engaging game with rich world-building. Avowed has rich storytelling with recognizable companions& ethical choices that have consequences on the story.
